PREPARATION:
1) Using any shampoo, thoroughly rinse hair and scalp. Rinse with water, reapply a small amount of shampoo along the length, whipping into a foam. Massagethe foam on the hair for about a minute, rinse the hair thoroughly with water
2) Without using a comb/ styling brush, dry the hair. Ensuring the hair is 100% dry.
APPLICATION OF THE COMPOSITION:
1) Divide the hair into zones. Apply SLK ICE with a hard brushin a row, backing away from the scalp by 0.5cm. Using a comb, comb through the product from roots to ends, ensuring even coverage.
2) Upon completion of the application, if necessary, use a plastic clip and put a plastic cap on the hair. The exposure timeis 45 minutes ( for afro hair type or more frizzy/curly hair. the exposure time must increased to 15 - 20 minutes).
3) Upon completion of processing time, rinsehair with 1-2 application bowls. (20-30%) Remove excess.
Application for hair extensions: same technique and procedure, applying 1cm away from the roots.
Aftercare recommendation: Sulphate free shampoo and conditioner, using deep treatment mask weekly.
STRAIGHTENING:
1) After the exposure time and rinse, dry the hair 100%. To do this,use the warm air setting of the hair dryer: ( use of a heat protectant spray is recommendd)
2) Divide dry hair into a convenient number of zone.
3) Using an iron with titanium/tourmaline plates, separate the thin strands ( commensurate with the size of the iron plate in width).
4) The temperature of the iron and the numberof strokes depends on the degree of damageand curliness of the hair. Operating temperatures: from 180 to 210 maximum.
- The number of strokes per strand of hair should be from 10 - 18 times ( the ratio of the root and middle zones - ends 70/30 )
- Avoiding the root zone, apply a nourishing mask along the entire length of the hair. Work the mask for 3-5 minutes with comb-like finger movements, then rinse with water.
- Finger dry hair complete style. ( you can leave hair without witting for upto 6-12 hours postironing ) No toning or styling is to be performed untill hair has been shampooed first. ( ammonia free low developer options are recommended. Same dayor up to a week post service ).
